As Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Cleveland, Fred Crosby became known for being an aggressive litigator who gets results. He successfully obtained the first conviction for stalking in the State of Ohio, for which he was featured on TV5’s Morning Exchange. In private practice, Mr. Crosby has successfully defended persons accused of virtually every crime imaginable, from DUI to murder. Ever at the cutting edge, Mr. Crosby has considerable experience handling Internet/Cyber crimes, as well as White Collar crimes in State and Federal Courts. His wide and varied list of clients over the years includes former Cleveland Indians Manny Ramirez and Bartolo Colon. He was the President of the Cuyahoga Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association, Vice President of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, and Board member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Mr. Crosby has served on numerous bar committees, including the important Certified Grievance Committee of the County Bar Association. He is also Acting Judge for the Shaker Heights Municipal Court.

In addition to criminal cases, Mr. Crosby handles every type of Domestic Relations matter, including contested and uncontested divorces, dissolutions, custody disputes, child and spousal support, and modifications.

Mr. Crosby regularly appears in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, and the Cleveland, Garfield Heights, Bedford, Lyndhurst, Parma, Rocky River, Cleveland Heights, and Shaker Heights Municipal Courts.

An active member of the community, Fred Crosby has served as Chairman of the Fenn Fund (a subsidiary of the Cleveland Foundation) and on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Motorists’ Association, City News, and Crosby Furniture. He also served on the Scholarship Committee of the Beachwood City Schools’ P.T.A.  For his professional and community accomplishments, Fred was inducted into the Beachwood Gallery of Success in 2003.
